When the World Says, "You're nothing but a _______!"

Galatians 4:7 (King James Version)

7Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

"You're nothing but a (insert terrible label here)!"

"You're nothing but a good-for-nothing (insert scathing noun here)!"

Are you?

If you are not, why waste your time listening to a liar?

If you are, confess it, repent it, and change.

Once you've changed, you are no longer a field hand or a house slave; you are adopted by God.  You become His child, with all the benefits and responsibilities of the heir to the throne.

Live that way.

When the World Says, "You're nothing but a ____"
God says, "You are my child."

My Lord, my Savior, my Father,
I used to be a lot of things.  Now I am your child.  Help me always to remember that.  Make me worthy of your inheritance.  Help me forgive those who are always reminding me of what I used to be.
Amen.
